I love the cute cartoons of open source software (i.e. Digsby, QQ, Pidgin, Linux) I support them because they are random people working together, motivated by passion, purpose and drive to make the internet a better place for everyone.

In particular, I am fascinated by how the Mozilla mascots like Firefox, SeaMonkey and Thunderbird could leverage on the Internet to gather a free army of open source developers that even monopolys like Microsoft recognize it as a respectable competitor.
