Introduction
This idea is based off my national service experiences in Singapore observing security in a military camp…

Problem:
Closed Circuit Television Monitoring (CCTV) has made it easier to monitor and detect any suspicious behavior to protect critical assets. However, CCTV takes up ALOT of time and manpower resources to maintain and it is very inefficient. Just imagine you are a security guard and you have to eyeball more than 2 different screens with just 2 eyes for hours, just to observe suspicious behaviour that might last just seconds before it is off the CCTV field of vision.
Solution
Based on computer vision, we could build a smart CCTV system that could automate suspicious behavior detection so that manpower hours could be saved and CCTV monitoring could be done more efficiently. The product would pre-record a set of behavior and actions that are deemed suspicious or alert conscious. (This is when the customers would role play suspicious or indecent acts so the computer could recognize the motion and forms.) The computer would then track for suspicious activity by referencing to data that has been stored in its database, notifying the user using a statistical approach.
The underlying technology would be based on digital signals processing, computer vision and image/video recognition.
