Hmm, the solution seems highly vague, it seems to be hinging on motion recognition. Suspicious activity may be deemed as something innocent as loitering to something 100% guilty like safebreaking. It will be a challenge to design software that can do that.

i attended a lecture on the future of engineering in ASTAR before.. and what was mentioned that the focus of research is slowly shifting towards the coorperation among professionals. because the future work is really interdisciplinary and to be a successful researcher doesnt mean someone who is knowledgable but someone who is a good team worker. because it is definitely impossible to grasp everything well.

hey.. i saw something like during my attachment at cambridge.. just that theirs was an LED shirt which u can draw stuff on.. think it was a feasible method of reducing vandalism in society cos the same technology was implemented on walls.. so people could draw things on the walls and yet not cause permenent damage.. >< does it work on solar power?
